New Website and Blog Coming Soon!
February 10, 2011 at 9:40 am | Posted in Uncategorized | Leave a commentSo we have been so crazy busy over the holidays and the beginning part of this year that I have fallen behind on blog duties. I’ve also been in the midst of creating a new website with a blog built in and is much more user-friendly. I will be uploading the new website this weekend, so be sure to check back to see all the backlog of dog photos and adventure photos we’ve gotten over the past couple of months!

Medium/Large Adventure November 3rd
November 10, 2010 at 9:18 am | Posted in Adventures | Leave a commentFun photos from our Adventures last Wednesday. It was a bit cooler, so some pups decided not to swim as much (couldn’t keep cold-weather labs Wrigley and Mana out of the water!), but we still had a good time. I apologize we didn’t get many photos when we came back up, but alas the camera went bust again (getting a new one this weekend!). We missed the unlikely play pairing of Bodie and Lexie! They’ve known each other for several years, but just decided to play together that day. Might have had something to do with the fact that Lexie’s boy-toy Big Jack was pretty keen on Millie last week…

Recent Adventures
October 24, 2010 at 10:48 pm | Posted in Adventures | Leave a commentBelow are albums from our most recent Medium/Large Dog adventures. During last week’s Monday S/M adventure, my camera acted up again, so Shannon used her phone to grab some cute shots. Those will be posted tomorrow.
We have picked up quite a few new walking clients and Shannon (she’s been working with us on the Adventures for several months and knows quite few of our regular dogs) has come onboard to help Ann and I with daily walking because as much as we’d love to see everyone every day, there’s only so many hours in the day and quite a few pooches to walk! I’ve also been designing our new website, so things have been quite hectic lately and I haven’t had a chance to update the blog. Our new website should be up and running later this week and the blog will be a part of the website itself, which should make updating a bit easier for me (I now have to go to 3 separate sites to update!). Enjoy the photos and keep an eye for our new website!

Small/Med Adventures 10.4 and 10.11
October 13, 2010 at 10:19 pm | Posted in Adventures | Leave a commentPhotos from our Monday adventures the past 2 weeks. ‘Bout the Petz is closed this week so Jodi and Will can take a vacation, so our 10.11 adventure took place at Tanglewood and our friend Shelby’s (chocolate lab) house. We had a great hike and it was a nice change of pace for the crew because it was new smells and faces (we saw quite a few horses!) to explore. As always, both albums are at the bottom of post.
Playful girl Bridget with Chloe and Poseidon
Poseidon tried his darnedest to get Hunter to play with him, but Hunter wasn’t having it. He was in “fetch” mode and couldn’t be bothered with puppies!
Wellington enticing Felix to play
Peaches, Poseidon, and Obi having fun

10.1 Med/Large Dog Adventure
October 8, 2010 at 11:30 am | Posted in Adventures | Leave a commentI am so sorry I’ve been behind on posting photos lately! We’ve been crazy busy with dog walking/pet sitting and our collar business (on top of redesigning the website!), so I promise I am going to get better at it! I’ve now embedded the blog in our actual website and not all the functions are available yet, so I will continue to double post (also at 3pooches.wordpress.com), until I can get all the functionalities working of the blog on the 3 Pooches website. We’ll also have a client photo gallery page, as well!
Anyhow, here are fun photos from our Friday adventure on October 1st (other adventures were cancelled/postponed due to rain that week). Below are Reasons We Love Doggy Adventures.
1) Make Friends, Big or Small
2) Able to Run like the Wind
3) Did I mention some of our friends are part alligator?
Santee showing his pearly whites with Lottie
4) Did we mention running?
Little Jack, Lottie, and Big Jack
5) Swimming!
Rain, Millie, Marley, Wrigley, and Lottie
6) Water fun!
7) and MORE running!

9.22 Med/Large Dog Adventure
September 27, 2010 at 9:33 pm | Posted in Adventures | Leave a commentIt was a hot one last week with a pond full of pollen. We got some good play photos with a bit of teeth – the photos may look alarming, but they’re all in play and that’s the awesome thing about our adventures. One may get a bit of slobber on them, but all the dogs get along so well and we have quite a good pack going. When one thinks to show a little teeth, we know not to worry. It’s the human equivalent of saying, “Whoa, you’re getting just a bit wild. Let’s slow down a minute.”
Lexie giving Jack a love bite.
Yellow, yellow, and more yellow! Yellow labs Mana, Calley, and Wrigley
Down at the pond: Marley, Calley, Santee, Millie, Rain, Lottie, Pippin, and Jack
Jumper of the week: Lottie. I try and get photos of all the jumpers, but Marley, Wrigley, and Mana are too quick for me. They jump before the toy’s thrown!
Millie and Jack running with Brady in the background
Little Jack’s quite the player! Playing with his new girlfriends Lottie and Pippin
Pippin and Bodie, a bit muddy after hanging at the pond

9.17 Adventure
September 19, 2010 at 1:33 pm | Posted in Adventures, Uncategorized | Leave a commentWe spent the majority of our Med/Large Dog Adventure at the pond and swimming this week because it turned out to be pretty hot. Everybody did great off-leash this week, even newbies Calley and Rain, who both were on a loose leash this week, but showed us they could be off-leash just fine. Everyone at least stuck their paws in and the ones that didn’t swim played chase around the pond and in the nearby woods. Full album at bottom of post.
Santee enticing Jack with the frisbee
Lottie, legs flying, while Wrigley and Pickles do smaller splashes
Jack, doing his version of legs flying
Brady on his way back from a hike
Millie, in the water, but not quite sure where to go
Pickles and Wrigley sharing the duck
Mana, hogging the pool, with her Big Red Jolly Ball
Lambeau and Jack having chase time after the pond
Calley making friends with Pippin

9.13 Adventure
September 19, 2010 at 1:08 pm | Posted in Adventures, Uncategorized | Leave a commentWe had a blast on this week’s Small/Medium Adventure. Hunter had a great time beating Pickles and Calley to the balls and Frisbee; Chloe and Peaches had fun with the Big Red Jolly Ball; Bridget, Yogi, and Darwin became good buddies; and Peaches and Deuce hit it off like gangbusters. Full album at bottom of post.
Chloe and her Bulldog grip on the Big Red Jolly Ball
Who says dachshunds don’t fetch? Hunter, having beat lab Calley to the ball
Peaches and Deuce playing while Darwin tries to cut in
